It works like the following.
FRONT END
When a visitor decides to leave comment on post/page which is configured to use the plugin, visitor’s contact details are autosubmitted to autoresponder system (configured by admin). After that visitor either redirected to pre-defined page or stay on the same page where he/she left the comment. This option is configured by admin.
BACK END
1. The plugin is installed like any other standard WordPress plugin: just copy folder “email-list-builder” into WordPress plugins folder “/wp-content/plugins/” and activate it via WP dashboard.
2. Once installed, it will create a configuration page in the admin section where the admin can set autoresponder optin form HTML-code (not JavaScript code) and pages for redirection (if required). The menu item for settings page is located at left side column, “Settings” section; its name is “E-mail List Builder”. Below you can see how the plugin configuration page looks.
3. The plugin will also add a simple checkbox saying “Enable E-mail List Builder” in the post/page edit page. This will just determine whether the post/page will use the plugin functionality. See screenshot below.
4. The plugin will also add new column “E-mail List Builder” to posts/pages table. It will allow you to see which post/page is involved into plugin functionality.
